What it does
What the Pulse Controller does
The Pulse Controller drives motorised things. The same controller can run a curtain track, a roller blind, a sliding gate, a rolling shutter or a boom barrier — what changes is the operation mode you select, which tells it how the motor and its buttons are wired.
Picking the right mode is the whole job. Get it right and the motor behaves properly; get it wrong and the controller will fight the wiring.

A curtain/pulse controller can work in different modes. You pick the mode that matches what it is connected to, for smooth and correct operation.
Setup
Change the operation mode
1.Open the app and tap Devices.
2.Select the Pulse Controller.
3.Tap Settings.
4.Open Additional Settings.
5.Tap Operation Modes.
6.Select the mode and tap OK.
The five modes
Mode 1 — Press & Hold
•The motor runs only while the button is held.
•Release and it stops.
•Best for manual curtain and blind control, where you want to stop exactly where you like.
Mode 2 — Press & Release (2-button)
•Press once to start moving.
•Press the opposite button to reverse.
•Suits curtains and blinds with two-button operation.
Mode 3 — 3-button
•Separate Open and Close buttons.
•Press both together to stop.
•Recommended for curtains, blinds and shutters that need a proper stop.
Mode 4 — 3-button, NC stop
•Dedicated Open, Close and Stop buttons.
•The stop output is Normally Closed.
•The usual choice for gates, boom barriers and industrial motor controllers.
Mode 5 — 3-button, NO stop
•Dedicated Open, Close and Stop buttons.
•The stop output is Normally Open.
•For automation systems that need an NO stop input.

2.Tap Devices.
3.Select the Room.
4.Tap the required Device.
5.Open Additional Settings.

How to use
Choosing your mode
Work from the buttons your installation actually has:
•Two buttons, and you want to stop mid-way by letting go → Mode 1.
•Two buttons, press once to run → Mode 2.
•Three buttons on a curtain, blind or shutter → Mode 3.
•A gate or barrier → Mode 4 or Mode 5, depending on whether your stop input is Normally Closed or Normally Open.
If you are not sure whether the stop input is NC or NO, ask your installer rather than guessing — the two behave in opposite ways, and a barrier that reads its stop signal backwards is a safety problem, not an inconvenience.
Once the mode matches the wiring, the controller works with scenes, schedules, routines and automations like any other Beakn device.
