The Modular Touch Curtain RPro is a capacitive touch module that replaces the traditional mechanical curtain switch in your existing ROMA-format plate. It provides open / stop / close pulse control for motorized curtain tracks and blinds, and slots directly into plates from Anchor Roma, Legrand Myrius, GM Modular, Havells Crabtree, and 25+ other ROMA-compatible Indian brands — no new plate, no new wiring, no hub.
Like every Beakn Modular Touch product, it connects over WiFi and brings full app, voice, schedule, and automation control to your motorized curtains, with all 20 app features included at no subscription cost.

What You Need Before Installing
•A ROMA-format plate already installed (Anchor Roma, Legrand Myrius, GM Modular, Havells Crabtree, or any of 25+ ROMA-compatible brands)
•A neutral wire present at the switchboard — required for all Modular Touch variants; your electrician confirms this during installation
•A motorized curtain system with a standard pulse / dry-contact input
Installation Process
1.Remove the existing mechanical curtain switch module from the ROMA plate — the plate itself stays on the wall
2.Snap in the Modular Touch Curtain RPro module into the same plate position
3.Connect wiring — Live, Neutral, and the three output channels (Open, Stop, Close) to the curtain motor controller
4.Power on — the LED indicators light up
5.Pair via the Beakn app over WiFi — no hub required

The module sends brief pulse signals to the curtain motor controller's Open, Stop, and Close inputs — the same signal a standard wall button sends. This is compatible with virtually all motorized curtain tracks and blind systems that use dry-contact or pulse inputs.
Does it work with my motorized curtain brand?
If your curtain motor accepts a dry-contact or pulse input for Open / Stop / Close, the Modular Touch Curtain will work with it. Confirm your motor's input type with your curtain supplier if unsure.
What plate brands does the RPro fit?
Anchor Roma, Legrand Myrius, GM Modular, Havells Crabtree, and 25+ other ROMA-format plate brands available in India. If your plate is Schneider Vihan or ZENcelo, choose the VPro variant instead.
What is the difference between RPro and VPro?
Functionally identical — same specs, same features, same app, same voice integrations. The only difference is the plate-locking mechanism: RPro for ROMA-format plates, VPro for Vihan-format plates. Choose based on your installed plate brand.

Does it work without internet?
Yes. The physical touch panel (Open / Stop / Close) works at all times without internet. Scheduled automations and timers run locally on the device. Only remote access from outside your home network requires an internet connection.
Is a neutral wire always required?
