Overview
LPF Retrofit 6 Switch
The LPF Retrofit 6 Switch is Beakn's six-channel smart switch module — the largest in the Low Profile Retrofit range. It installs invisibly behind an existing switchboard in approximately 15 minutes, converting up to six traditional wall switches into fully smart, WiFi-controlled switches without any rewiring, plate changes, or civil work.
At 16mm thin and rated at 16A per channel, it is purpose-built for large rooms or full switch board conversions where multiple loads — lights, fans, a geyser, an AC, an exhaust — all live on one board. Every physical wall switch continues to work exactly as before; app control, voice control, schedules, and automation are added on top.
It is designed for large rooms or boards where five or six loads coexist, including full smart board conversions in one installation.

Full Smart Board Conversion
A large bedroom, master suite, or living room typically carries lights, fans, a geyser or AC, and an exhaust fan all on one board. The LPF 6 Switch converts all six in one installation — one 15-minute visit, no civil work.
Geyser Auto-Off
Connect the geyser to one channel, set a 20-minute auto-off timer. The timer fires however the geyser was turned on — app, voice, or wall switch — saving approximately ₹1,500–2,000/month on electricity without changing any family habits.
AC & Appliance Voltage Protection
Enrol the AC (or geyser) in Safe Mode. The moment mains voltage goes above 280V or below 200V, the module auto-disconnects it — preventing approximately ₹18,000–25,000 of appliance damage from voltage spikes.
Morning Routine Automation
With six channels available, a single module can automate an entire morning sequence — geyser on at 5:50 AM, exhaust on at 6:00 AM, lights on at 6:05 AM, geyser auto-off at 6:20 AM — with zero manual operation.
AC Night Cycling (with IR Blaster)
Pair the AC channel with a Beakn IR blaster; build a routine that adjusts temperature through the night automatically, saving approximately ₹1,000–1,500/month.

FAQ
Who should choose the 6-channel over the 2 or 4-channel?
Anyone with a large room or a switchboard that has five or six loads — e.g. a master bedroom with ceiling light, bedside lights, fan, geyser, AC, and exhaust, or a living room with multiple light circuits and an AC. It is also the right choice for a full smart board conversion in one installation.
Can it run my 1.5-ton split AC?
Yes. A 1.5-ton split AC draws 7–10A; the LPF 6 Switch is rated at 16A per channel. For a 2-ton AC or instant geyser (up to 25A / 3000W), consider the LPF HD Module instead.
What loads can each channel handle?

What the installer does
1.Opens the existing switch board (no drilling, no plastering)
2.Places the 16mm LPF module behind the board
3.Connects load wires from each existing switch terminal to the corresponding channel terminal on the module
4.Connects the neutral wire (must be available at the board)
5.Closes the board — switch plates and physical switches remain unchanged
6.Pairs with the Beakn app over WiFi
Total time: approximately 15 minutes per board.

Does it work without internet?
Yes. Locally pre-set schedules and auto-off timers run on the module itself. Wall switches work normally. Local app control works over the home WiFi network. Only remote access from outside the home requires internet.

Does the auto-off timer work if someone flips the wall switch?
Yes. The auto-off timer fires regardless of how the load was switched on — app, voice command, schedule, or a manual wall toggle. Family members do not need to use the app for the timer to work.
Do the physical switches stop working after installation?
No. Every physical wall switch continues to work exactly as before. The module adds app and voice control on top; it does not replace the wall switch.
