Home Console turns an Android tablet or Android display into a dedicated control panel for your home. Mount it on a wall and the whole family can use the house without anyone reaching for a phone.

That last part is the real reason to fit one. A phone app works well for the person who set it up. A panel on the wall works for grandparents, children, guests and household staff — everyone who is never going to install the app and log in.

You can control lights, fans, curtains, locks and other appliances directly from the display.

It suits a living room wall, an entrance, an office or a reception desk.

Real-life example: A panel by the front door of a Pune flat. On the way out, one tap on Leaving Home switches off every light and fan and locks the door. The person leaving does not need to own a phone with the app on it.

Once paired, all your rooms, devices, scenes, automations and weather information appear on the console automatically. You do not set anything up twice — the console mirrors the home you have already built in the app.
