Installation & Wiring
Before You Start
•Neutral wire required — a neutral must be present and available at the board. This is mandatory for all Full Glass Magnetic Touch panels. Your electrician should confirm this before ordering.
•Wall box must match 6M size — this panel replaces the entire switchboard; the wall box must be the correct 6M gang size. In new construction, the box is specified during electrical rough-in. In existing homes, if your current box is already 6M it is a direct replacement; otherwise minor civil (wall) work is needed to resize the box.
•Phase input — connect single-phase or 3-phase supply as applicable to your property; both are supported on this 6M panel.
Wiring Connections
•8 standard switch channels — connect lighting or load wires to the respective switch terminals; observe load limits (800W resistive / 120W LED / 400W inductive per channel)
•2 × HD channels — connect heavy loads (geyser, AC, high-load circuits) to the 20A HD relay terminals; each handles up to 2500W / 20A
•1 socket — connect the socket terminals to your socket feed wiring
•Neutral — connect the neutral from the board to the designated neutral terminal
•2-way switching — up to 2 channels can be wired for 2-way (multi-location) switching; connect the 2-way wire to the designated terminals per the wiring diagram supplied with the panel
•3-phase input — if your supply is 3-phase, connect the appropriate phase wires to the panel's phase input terminals as indicated in the wiring guide
Mounting
1.Fix the 6M wall box into the wall at standard depth.
2.Complete all wiring connections to the back plate / terminal block.
3.Align the glass panel face over the wall box — the magnetic mount locks it in place automatically.
4.No screws visible on the finished installation.
5.To service: pull the glass face off magnetically — no tools required.
Post-Installation
•Download the Beakn app, add the panel to your WiFi network.
•Assign custom icon labels per channel if adjustments are needed.
•Configure LED indicator colours, brightness, and Night Mode.
•Link to Google Assistant, Alexa, Siri, or HomeKit as required.
•Test the included IR remote — it functions independently of WiFi.
