Full Glass 2 Switch

The Full Glass 2 Switch is the entry-level configuration in Beakn's premium Full Glass Magnetic Touch range. It replaces your entire switchboard with a single seamless panel of 3mm toughened smartphone-grade glass, housing two independent switch channels behind flat backlit touch zones — no raised buttons, no visible screws. Available in White, Black, and Metallic Grey, it fits a 2M or 3M wall box and is ideal for smaller rooms, single-appliance boards, or any space where a clean, minimal aesthetic is the priority.

Despite being the smallest panel in the range, it carries every hallmark of the Full Glass line: magnetic mounting, a built-in IR remote, 4.5KV surge protection, customizable backlit icons, WiFi + voice control, and a 5-year warranty — all with 20 app features included free and no subscription.

The Full Glass 2 Switch is best suited to:

•Small rooms — bedrooms, bathrooms, studies, corridors, or utility areas where only 2 circuits need control from one board

•Single-appliance boards — a dedicated board controlling two lights, or a light and a geyser (within load limits)

•Aesthetic-priority spaces — anywhere a clean, screwless glass finish matters more than high channel count

•Replacing a 2-gang switchboard — direct replacement where the wall box is already 2M or 3M

•Guest rooms and elderly-friendly installs — the included IR remote and clear custom icons mean the switch is usable without a smartphone

•Renovation upgrades — swapping out a plain 2-gang plate for a premium glass panel with no civil work (if box size matches)

> Not suited to: circuits requiring heavy-load (20A / 2500W HD) switching — this configuration has no HD channel. For heavy appliances, choose a panel that includes an HD channel. Also not suitable for fan speed control (no fan channel) or socket outlets (no socket).

What This Panel Replaces

The Full Glass 2 Switch replaces the entire switchboard — the plate, all switches, and the frame — with one glass panel. It is not a retrofit that sits behind an existing plate.

Wall Box Requirement

•The wall box must be 2M or 3M (matching the chosen panel size)

•New construction: the electrician prepares the correct box size during rough-in work

•Existing home: if the current box is already 2M or 3M, it is a direct swap; if not, minor civil work (box resize) is required before installation

Wiring Requirements

•Neutral wire is mandatory — a neutral must be present at the board; this is a hard requirement for all Full Glass variants

•Most standard boards already have a neutral; your electrician confirms before install

•If no neutral is present, it must be run before the panel can be installed

•Phase: single-phase only — 3-phase input is not supported on 2M/3M panels (available only on 6M and larger)

•Live and load wiring follows standard switchboard replacement practice — each of the 2 switch channels takes its own load wire

FAQ

Q: Does the Full Glass 2 Switch need a neutral wire?

Yes — a neutral wire is required at the wall box for all Full Glass variants, including this one. Most boards already have one; your electrician will confirm during a site check. If no neutral is present, it must be added before installation.

Q: Can it support 3-phase supply?

No. The 2 Switch (2M/3M) is single-phase only. 3-phase input is supported on 6M panels and larger. If you have a 3-phase supply and need glass touch control, you will need to select a 6M or larger configuration.

Q: Does it have an HD channel for heavy loads (geyser, AC, oven)?

No — the 2 Switch configuration does not include an HD (20A / 2500W) channel. The maximum per channel is 800W (resistive) or 400W (inductive). For heavy appliances, choose a panel configuration that includes at least one HD channel.

Q: Can I control fans with this panel?

No — there is no fan regulator channel on the 2 Switch. For capacitive fan speed control (up to 80W), choose the Fan Switch or a multi-fu
