Overview

The Full Glass 10 Switch (8M) is a premium smart switchboard panel from Beakn's Full Glass Magnetic Touch range. It replaces your entire existing switchboard with a single seamless surface of 3mm toughened glass — the same grade used in smartphone screens — delivering 10 independently controlled switch channels plus 2 HD (heavy-duty) channels rated at 20A / 2500W each.

At 8 modules wide, this is one of Beakn's larger panel configurations, suited to living rooms, master bedrooms, open-plan spaces, and any room carrying multiple lighting circuits alongside heavy appliances. It supports both single-phase and 3-phase input (3-phase available on 6M panels and larger, which this 8M panel qualifies for), and connects via WiFi without a hub. An IR remote is included for physical control without a phone. Every panel ships with 20 app features, free, no subscription.

Installation

What this panel replaces

The Full Glass 10 Switch (8M) replaces the entire switchboard — the plate, all switches, and any existing fittings — with one glass panel. It is not a retrofit behind existing switches or a modular insert.

Wall box requirement

•The wall box must match the 8M gang size

•In new construction: the wall box is specified and prepared during electrical rough-in

•In existing homes: if the current box is already 8M, it is a direct swap-in; if not, minor civil work (cutting / boxing) resizes the cavity before installation

Neutral wire — mandatory

•A neutral wire must be present at the board for all Full Glass variants, including this one

•Most modern switchboards already carry a neutral; your electrician confirms this during a pre-install check

3-phase input

•This 8M panel supports single-phase or 3-phase input

•3-phase wiring is connected at the board; the panel accommodates both supply types

•The installer allocates channels across phases as required by the load plan
