β’Perfect when you upgrade to a new router (JioFiber, Airtel, TP-Link, and so on).

Is the device online?
Β
A device that has lost Wi-Fi or power cannot be controlled, and it helps to be able to tell at a glance.
Β
1.Open the app and tap Settings.
2.Tap Devices.
3.Any device showing a Wi-Fi OFF icon is offline.
4.Tap a device to open it. Device Status reads either:
β’Online β connected and ready to use.
β’Offline β disconnected or unreachable.
Β
If something is not responding, check here first. It saves you resetting a device that was only waiting for the router to come back.
Β
Schedule an action for a device that is offline
Β
You do not have to wait for a device to come back before telling it what to do. If a switch is offline, you can queue the action and the app will carry it out the moment the device reconnects.
Β
1.Open the app and tap Devices.
2.Open the room and tap the switch you want to control.
3.If the device is offline you will see Unable to Communicate.
4.Tap Turn ON/OFF Next Time Device is Online.
5.Choose the action you want β Turn ON or Turn OFF.
6.Confirm.
Β
The action is saved and runs by itself as soon as the device is back on the network.
Β
Real-life example: You are at the office and remember the bedroom geyser is on, but the power at home has gone. You queue a Turn OFF. When the power returns at 4 pm the geyser switches off before anyone gets home, instead of heating an empty tank all afternoon.
