Overview
Beakn Smart COB CCT Driver (26W–30W)
The Beakn Smart COB CCT Driver (26W–30W) is a direct drop-in replacement for the standard non-smart driver inside any 26W–30W COB light — spotlight, downlight, track light, or COB panel. Swapping the driver is all it takes: the COB chip, reflector, housing, and existing wiring stay exactly as they are. A regular electrician completes the swap in approximately 15 minutes.
Once installed, the driver delivers two capabilities simultaneously: tunable white colour control (2500K warm to 6500K cool, continuously adjustable) and full 0–100% flicker-free dimming — all over WiFi, with no hub required. Control is via the Beakn app, Apple Siri, Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa.
This is the higher-wattage CCT variant in the Beakn COB driver range, designed specifically for COB lights rated 26W to 30W. For lights rated 7W–24W, or for single-colour-only lights, see the other variants in the range.

Prerequisites
1.The existing COB light is rated 26W to 30W.
2.The COB light is CCT-capable — it has separate warm-white and cool-white LED chips and a 3-wire output connection from the driver to the light.
3.A neutral wire is available at the fixture location (live + neutral mains input required).
4.The building WiFi is 2.4GHz (5GHz is not supported).

Installation Steps (for a qualified electrician)
1.Isolate power — switch off the circuit breaker feeding the light.
2.Access the driver — open the existing fixture or ceiling access point.
3.Disconnect the old driver — note/label the mains input wires (live, neutral) and the output wires to the COB (3 wires for a CCT light: common + warm + cool).
4.Connect the Beakn driver:
•Mains input: live → live, neutral → neutral
•Output: match warm and cool output wires to the COB's warm and cool chip connections; connect common/return
5.Secure and close — ensure the driver fits within the housing with a little clearance for airflow; close the fixture.
6.Power on — restore the breaker.
7.Pair in the Beakn app — follow the in-app pairing flow over 2.4GHz WiFi; the driver is discovered automatically.
8.Group (optional) — add the light to a Room or Scene in the app to control it alongside other Beakn lights.

Shift the same COB light from deep warm white (2500K, like halogen) through neutral white to crisp cool daylight (6500K), or any point in between.
